In this interview with NASA's Chief Scientist and Senior Climate Advisor, Dr. Kate Calvin, Bridget Seegers and Ivona Cetinic' (both 616/MSU) have an in-depth conversation about the PACE mission and phytoplankton, in particular, how phytoplankton plays a key role in life in the ocean, the quality of the ocean's health, and what the colors of the ocean can tell us. They also all discuss their own personal connections to the ocean, their educational and science backgrounds, and how they became interested in earth science and ocean science.
