GESTAR II Graduate Student Special Topic Colloquium Kickoff
Every spring semester, GESTAR II hosts a special topic graduate student colloquium. (For a look at the 2024 topic and speakers, visit this page.) This spring, the focus is on "Transition from Graduate Student to Early Career Scientist." The event aims to help students better prepare for their career transitions and navigate the job search process.

The first speaker of the series was Dr. Daniel Miller (613/UMBC). He shared his personal journey from graduate student to NASA NPP Fellow and discussed his experience in securing his first grant as a principal investigator.
