Shuman contributes to Earth Observatory IOTD
            In early 2002, iceberg B22-A broke away from Thwaites Glacier and in 2012, it became grounded until recently, when it began to drift northwest in autumn 2022. Glaciologist Christopher Shuman (615/UMBC) provides insight to what led to the iceberg's movement over 20 years in the Earth Observatory's Image of the Day, "Long-Lived Iceberg Sails Away".
